This is a site of documentary photography and writing about photography.
I teach film production and documentary practice at the University of Bristol. I grew up in South Africa and have particular interests in the legacy of colonialism in Britain and South Africa.
My work is informed by interests in photographic theory, cultural perception and representation, and documentary ethics.
